Your Defence Health membership card allows you to claim automatically, on the spot, at a growing number of dentists, chiropractors, optometrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and podiatrists.
After consultation, your card is swiped through a terminal and your claim is processed in seconds. You can then pay the difference (if there is one) by making use of the terminal's EFTPOS functionality. Your card will allow electronic claims for up to 10 days after the provision of the service.
