Extras insurance assists with the costs of services that occur out of hospital and which are not covered by Medicare. Everyday general treatments like dental, optical, physiotherapy, chiropractic, ambulance and remedial massage.
Defence Health offers two levels of extras cover - Top Extras or Standard Extras.
You can purchase either as a stand alone product or combine them with one of our hospital products - Top Hospital or Public Hospital. And if you're a member of the permanent ADF and don't require cover for yourself you can cover your civilian dependants on one of our special ADF hospital products - ADF Top Hospital or ADF Public Hospital.
