How to Claim with ClearView

Claims should be made within 90 days after the insured event, or as soon as reasonably practical thereafter.

A potential claim relating to Occupationally Acquired HIV or Occupationally Acquired Hepatitis B or C must be reported to ClearView within 30 days of the relevant accident and supported by a negative HIV, Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C test (as applicable) taken within seven days after the accident.

ClearView will need all the evidence they reasonably regard as necessary to establish entitlement to a benefit.

To make a claim under the policy ClearView must receive:

  • A ClearView claim form which has been fully completed
  • The policy certificate
  • Proof of your age, if not already provided, and
  • Any other evidence ClearView require to establish the circumstances of the claim.

The cost of medical and other information, which ClearView may reasonably require to establish the validity of a claim, is your responsibility.
