The program of text messages is designed by leading academics and medical professionals at the University of Newcastle. The messages have practical tips, info and links to relevant services. They keep dad up-to-date with his baby’s development and involved in the pregnancy. The messages also remind him to take care of himself along the way.
Men with a partner at least 16 weeks into her pregnancy, or with a baby younger than 12 weeks old are eligible to enrol. They need to be at least 18 years old and of course, have a mobile phone. Tell your partner (and pregnant friends) to sign up for this valuable clinical research trial today.
"It helped my partner feel part of the 'baby process' and that his experiences were important too."
"Even though it was our second child it was extremely worthwhile. My husband won't read much about kids so short texts were great."
