In a clean sweep of the monthly survey, Defence Health has once again been named Major Private Health Insurer of the Year (not-for-profit and restricted category) in the 2020 Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards.
The award is especially pleasing this year, given the significant challenges our teams faced due to COVID-19. It validates the collective efforts of everyone at Defence Health to deliver an outstanding service experience for our members.
When our members turn to us, they can trust we have their needs at the heart of everything we do. Their health and wellbeing are what we’re here for. Our COVID-19 Member Support Program provided significant relief to members in 2020.
Roy Morgan CEO, Michelle Levine said, “Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, there were several businesses that satisfied their customers at a high level in 2020 – with 10 businesses winning every monthly customer satisfaction award.”
On hearing the news, Defence Health CEO, Gerard Fogarty said, “The recognition is even sweeter this year. Despite having to revert to remote work almost overnight – and many of us juggling home schooling with working from home – we have remained focused on delivering great service to our members.
This is a credit to the commitment and resilience of every employee at Defence Health.”
